OPEN POSITIONS
Poss Angus in Scotia, Nebraska is seeking to hire two full time employees. We are a family run, progressive operation with roughly 1,000 head of registered Angus cattle with an annual bull sale in February and 2,000 acres of farm ground. Competitive wages based on experience, plus housing. We are seeking employees for the long haul and additional benefits will be extended in a timely manner.
Position #1: Farm Hand/Truck Driver
Poss Angus is seeking a full time individual with a strong background in crop production. Truck driving experience is preferred but a CDL is not required. Modern John Deere equipment is utilized and a heated shop is used for equipment maintenance. A qualified individual should be able to complete basic mechanical work, operate tillage and harvest equipment, haul grain and hay to upwards of 30 miles, as well as assist with other on farm or cattle activities. Competitive hourly pay with housing and other benefits available, all based on experience.
Position #2: Ranch Hand
Duties include but not limited to: Mostly cattle work including AI'ing, calving, processing, feeding, haying, and fencing. All cattle work is done with horses and ATVs.
